

These new enemy types increase the difficulty significantly given their individual abilities (for example the bikers can throw their bats) and because of this the game has been given a difficulty menu which adds three difficulties. The story of Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is set both before and after the affairs of the first game, but with a particular focus on the events that take place after. Not much is known about the ongoing development cycle of Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number other than that it has been in development since the release of critically acclaimed reception of Hotline Miami and that it will be running on multiple platforms and make use of the GameMaker proprietary engine.
