I get 75 FPS everywhere except walking out of the understone keep in markarth.
Make sure to download the unofficial patch, skyrim script editor (SKSE), and a bunch of other bug fixes, depending on the version you're running. If you don't set that stuff up right, you'll get super laggy super quick. really have to look around for how to properly set up the fixes for oldrim or SE to properly manage memory and what not. Nexus mod mananger is super outdated, and the new "Vortex" program is a mess. I play on old skyrim by the way, so if you have SE you're even better off.ĮDIT: Use mod organizer 2. You could easily handle 4k textures and whatever else you wanted. I'm on a 1060 and have 200+ mods installed, including 2k textures at 1080p 75fps. I'm curious about this since i haven't done skyrim modding in a long time.
